3rd Annual Homebound Hustle 5K & 1-Mile Walk

What is the Homebound Hustle?

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, Family Promise of Morris County is hosting our 3rd Annual Steve Hammond Homebound Hustle 5K & 1-Mile Walk to end homelessness and increase housing stability in our community. Lace up your running shoes and join us on this beautiful, scenic cross country course, located in Central Park of Morris County!

By walking or running, you're supporting our most vulnerable community members. All funds raised will further our mission to end homelessness and housing insecurity in Morris County.

Check In and On-Site Registration: 9:00am - 9:45am

5K Race Start: 10:00am

1-Mile Walk Start: 10:15am

What's included in the registration fee?

· Participation in our Homebound Hustle 5K or 1-Mile Walk

· First 200 registrants receive an event t-shirt

· Awards ceremony for top three finishers by age group

· Post-race refreshments

Location:

The Homebound Hustle 5K & 1 Mile Walk will take place in Central Park of Morris County, which is located at 1 Gov. Chris Christie Drive in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. Upon entering the park, please follow signs for our event.

About the Course:

Our event will take place on Central Park’s cross-country trail. It is scenic and beautiful, but also wooded and occasionally bumpy. Please keep an eye out for rocks/stones and roots. If you have trail shoes, we recommend wearing them – but it’s not necessary!  Our 5K race will share the course with our 1-Mile walk. Please follow the direction of event volunteers as needed. Event Parking: There are two parking lots on N Cottage Street in Central Park. Our event will take place across the street, near the corner of N Cottage Street and Central Ave.
