What We Do

Family Promise of Morris County helps local communities coordinate their compassion to address the root causes of homelessness and housing insecurity. We address the issue holistically, providing prevention services before families and individuals reach crisis, shelter and case management when they experience homelessness, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent.

We tap existing local resources to empower families and individuals towards economic stability. Those we serve come to us in crisis; we help them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.

Rapid Rehousing and Diversion Program

Supports families and individuals in securing and maintaining safe, stable, and affordable housing or avoiding the shelter system entirely.

Shelter Programs

We provide families with a safe space to sleep at night, while focusing on crisis intervention, permanent housing acquisition, health, education, employment, and transportation.

Housing Programs

Helping the families and individuals we serve not only succeed today but remain stable in their housing, financial capability, and career paths tomorrow.

Outreach Programs

We address our community's housing, health, and economic needs through a low-barrier, individualized approach.

Equal Access Policy

Family Promise of Morris County welcomes all individuals who are heterosexual, bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgender, queer and/or gender non-conforming of different races, classes, religions, ages and backgrounds. Discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), familial status, and disability is therefore prohibited. All LGBTQ+ and gender-nonconforming guests of this agency are a protected class and will consequently be granted equal access to all agency services, programs, and accommodations.
