November is #HomelessnessAwarenessMonth.
Did you know that approximately 317,000 low-income New Jersey renters live in severely cost-burdened households? Or that New Jersey is the 7th most expensive state for renters?
The high cost of living in our state – and especially in Morris County – puts our low-income neighbors at an increased risk for homelessness and housing insecurity. High housing costs and lack of affordable housing will continue to cause hardship for this population and more, especially post pandemic.
By running, walking, or donating, you can help Family Promise of Morris County support our most vulnerable community members through this crisis.
You can help us kick off Homelessness Awareness Month by supporting families and individuals in need. Register for the Homebound Hustle 5 K & 1 Mile Walk or donate to Family Promise of Morris County today to support our most vulnerable neighbors.
The Homebound Hustle 5K is presented by Greenberg Traurig, LLC and PBF Energy. A special thank you Fingerpaint, Atlantic Health System, and all our event sponsors for their support!
