The Heart Behind the Hustle
The Homebound Hustle honors the late Stephen W. Hammond, who served Morris County for more than four decades, including as Director of Public Works and County Engineer.
​
Steve helped develop Central Park of Morris County, where we gather for this event. He also helped Family Promise of Morris County secure its Central Office near the park, making it possible to serve more families experiencing homelessness. He joined the Board of Trustees in 2015 and became Board President in 2017.
​
Steve cared deeply about his community and the people in it. This event celebrates his service and continues his commitment to helping neighbors find stability and a place to call home.
