Community Spotlight: Making Moves Matter Volunteer Patrick Higgins

This month, we’re highlighting Family Promise of Morris County and Making Moves Matter volunteer, Patrick Higgins.

Patrick is a member of our Making Moves Matter (MMM) team, which is a dedicated volunteer division of Family Promise. When permanent housing becomes available, MMM works with our guests to create a functional and welcoming living space. From gathering new and gently used household items, to cleaning, organizing, and decorating, MMM ensures every guest has a comfortable space to call home.

Patrick’s positive and generous nature is made clear through his dedication to his community and those we serve. When he isn’t helping turn our guests' houses into homes, he puts his toolbox to work at our Day Center as a handyman. He also helps our staff sort donations, like gently used furniture and décor.

Learn more about him below!
